She joined Kaplan, Inc. after a successful career of nearly two decades in learning and development across multiple industries, particularly in financial services, technology, media, publishing and retail. Vuernick has held accomplished roles at Penguin Group and Morgan Stanley, and has delivered programs at companies such as J.P. Morgan, Barclays, BlackRock, Raytheon, Lucent Technologies and Jupiter Communications.
Vuernick has the ability to influence and gain credibility with all levels of management. She facilitates and coaches people at all levels of an organization, bringing enthusiasm and refreshed thinking to her sessions. Vuernick encourages participants to challenge their beliefs of what they think is possible.
She holds a BA in Education and Psychology from Russell Sage College, and a Master’s degree in Instructional Design from the University of Colorado. She is MBTI and Prosci Change Management certified.

Eskander Yavar BDO Management Advisory Services Leader has more than 18 years of professional services experience. He brings both the technical knowledge associated with complex technology, supply chain, financial, and operational performance improvements and the “high touch” interaction style that improves the flow and timeliness of complex projects.
As leader of our Management Advisory Services team, Eskander helps drive executable solutions by drawing on industry knowledge, multidisciplinary backgrounds in technology and strategy, and deep experience in order to settle matters quickly and efficiently. Where there are challenges around the intersection of business process, supporting technology and strategy, this team is hired to drive solutions that deliver value in a pragmatic manner.
Eskander has extensive experience in the natural resources, manufacturing and distribution, professional services, waste services and technology services industries. He has worked on both domestic and overseas projects, including while working at the world’s largest management consulting firm. He has also has served on the Global Leadership Team of a multi-national company and has provided a variety of executive support functions that have helped improve the communications, work flow and effectiveness of large, multidisciplinary projects.
